School Start Squash – ‘WALL’ COURT SET UP

When using a wall for your squash court, use painter’s tape to highlight the front wall’s lines.

The chosen wall can be anywhere in the school, although the school gym or recess area are reasonable options.

  • The recommended wall size is 6 feet high and 12 feet wide.
  • The floor markings with or without the short line, T, service boxes, and half court line.
  • A service line can be installed halfway up the front wall.
  • A ‘tin’ (19 inches high on a real squash court) can be put to the bottom of the front wall to increase the difficulty level.
  • Walls in outdoor recess areas may even be permanently painted to create squash courts.
