- Many thanks for completing our 8-week School Start Squash course. We hope you all had fun, Now the 8-lesson squash course has come to an end, it’s crucial to recognize the students’ successes. Maybe organize a squash ceremony or party at the conclusion of the school year for participants.
- It’s also important to wrap up the School Start Squash course with a brief overview and ask students about their experience, favorite sections, and squash knowledge.
- We would love for this to be only the beginning of their long squash journey! Our hope is that all participants will want to continue playing squash and will be able to find local courts to practice, play and compete on regularly.
- Plan ahead of time and have information/flyers ready for additional squash courses and enjoyable events where students (and their parents) can play on actual squash courts. Contact US Squash at community@ussquash.org for additional information.
- Why not start a school team and compete in the Middle or High School Championships? Or Interscholastic Championships? How fun to play in a squash team with your school friends against other school teams from around the US. There are many divisions in the Scholastic Championships, so all levels are welcome.
- Think about setting up a free Club Locker account for each athlete. You will need an email from a parent for each child to complete this. Once a player is in the Club Locker system, they can easily participate in fun events, ladders, and begin to build a rating/ranking on the US Squash system.
- If you have any questions about playing school squash or tournaments, please email tournaments@ussquash.org and we will be happy to assist and point you in the right direction of courts, tournaments and coaches.
- Goodbye for now and have fun!
