PLAY THIS VIDEO TO LEARN THE CROSS COURT AND BOAST DRILL, AS WELL AS THE ONE STRAIGHT DRIVE, ONE BOAST DRILL
PLEASE NOTE: WE ONLY RECOMMEND MOVING ON TO THESE EXERCISES IF THE STUDENTS HAVE COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS DRILL AT A COMPETENT LEVEL.

CROSS-COURT AND BOAST DRILL:
- In pairs, one student hits a crosscourt while the other hits a forehand boast. Continue hitting and practicing backhand cross court and forehand boast.
- If playing in pairs, change shots after each rally.
- If in a group, everyone rotates to the left. The student on the forehand transitions to the backhand, the student on the backhand exits to wait, and a new student enters the forehand.
- Switch to the opposite side for forehand cross court and backhand boast.
ONE STRAIGHT DRIVE AND ONE BOAST DRILL:
- In pairs, one student begins the practice with a boast to get the ball to the opposite side of the court and to their partner. The receiving student hits one straight drive to themselves (from the boast) before repositioning themselves to hit a boast to their partner and repeating.
- If playing in pairs, alternate sides after each rally.
- If in a group, everyone rotates to the left. The student on the forehand transitions to the backhand, the student on the backhand exits to wait, and a new student enters the forehand.
