Starting Out 3.3 – EXERCISES FOR SERVES & RETURN OF SERVE

Keep the exercises interesting and focused by adding targets and goals. ​

1 player does 10 serves, and one player does 10 returns. If the server gets the ball into the back opposite corner, then they get a point. ​If the player returning the serve hits the ball above the service line and straight, they get a point.

Other ideas:

  • How many serves can they hit into the back quarter in 2 minutes?​​​
  • How many return of serves can they hit above the service line and straight in 2 minutes?​​
